 PACKAGING TECHNOLOGY REVIEW. Many of the projects that Baumann works on involve the assessment of packaging and production lines and how they could be improved to increase capacity and reduce costs. This often requires detailed analyses of machinery downtime, efficiency problems, and how labor interfaces with the equipment. The end result is the formulation of a plan that describes automation opportunities that are matched with the product and the business objectives of the company.
